Materials
Titanium
Chronoswiss increasingly favors titanium for its lightness. It has the best strength-to-weight ratio among metals, making it highly sought after in aerospace. Additionally, titanium is corrosion-resistant and skin-friendly. For its creations, Chronoswiss exclusively selects the toughest available titanium alloy, Grade 5.
Artisian handcraft
Côtes de Genève
The Côtes de Genève technique, famous for its elegant parallel lines, gives our dials a refined appearance that interacts with light. At Chronoswiss, we carefully craft this detailed pattern, making sure every line adds to the dial's sophistication. This skill shows our commitment to classic watchmaking and turns the dial into a standout element of beauty.
Coating
Chemical Vapour Deposition (CVD)
Chronoswiss harnesses the versatility of CVD coatings to infuse watch cases and dials with vibrant hues like blue, purple, and color-shifting tones. This complex gas-phase process enables precise, uniform coatings even on complex surfaces, optimizing for durability, resistance, and aesthetic appeal.
Our Vision
The idea behind the new ReSec Manufacture was the meticulous refinement of one of our most coveted models. Adopting a 42mm case, we've sculpted its presence in high-grade titanium for a sleeker, lighter experience. The dial has been redesigned for symmetry and transparency, showcasing the beauty of our newest in-house movement. It's more than a timepiece; it's a Next Generation emblem of innovation and craftsmanship, marking a future-forward step for Chronoswiss.
