Hand guilloché
Guilloché is a traditional technique, which engraves detailed, interwoven lines on surfaces, creating unique light patterns. Chronoswiss excels in this art, producing dials with precise, radiating designs using two main guilloché machines: the straight-line and rose engine. Despite the absence of manuals for over two centuries, Master-Guillocheurs have maintained their expertise through a deep understanding of these machines. Creating one of those complex dials takes several hours. Today, Chronoswiss's guilloché dials stand as both a tribute to and a celebration of this enduring craft, showcasing its timeless appeal with a modern twist.

L'affichage Night & Day sur une montre Chronoswiss est une complication classique et pratique qui permet de distinguer clairement le jour et la nuit d'un seul coup d'œil. Au lieu d'une simple échelle de 24 heures, elle se compose généralement d'un disque rotatif finement conçu ou d'une ouverture semi-circulaire qui représente visuellement l'heure de la journée : clair pour le jour, sombre pour la nuit. Cet affichage facilite la lecture d'un deuxième fuseau horaire et ajoute une esthétique vivante et dynamique au cadran, reflétant la passion de Chronoswiss pour l'horlogerie traditionnelle mais expressive.
